At 60 years old, I’ve learned a few things in life.
One of them is that age is just a number.
Another is that I have been directionally challenged for as long as I can remember.

My wife and kids will be the first to tell you — if there’s a wrong turn to take, I’ll find it. If there’s a parking lot with three exits, I’m picking the fourth one that doesn’t exist. Getting a little lost has become such a regular part of life that it turned into a running joke in our house.

So one day, I leaned into it.

I started wearing loud, bright shirts and sneakers as a joke and said to my wife,
“Well, if I do get lost, at least I’ll be easy to find.”

That’s when the phrase “Silver Alert clothing” was born.

What started as a laugh between my wife and me quickly turned into something bigger — because the more we joked about it, the more we realized there were a whole lot of people just like us: still active, still competitive, still showing up, still having fun… and not taking themselves too seriously along the way.

That’s how Silver Alert Sportswear came to life.

More Than Sportswear
